This ride is so much fun. It’s a 3D ride of video arcade games. The goal is to be the high scorer in the car. The graphics are cute and it’s just a very fun little game.

My Disney Vacation 2017 Day 1 Hollywood Studios
I want to love Hollywood Studios but there is not really enough to do there to make me love it. I really enjoy Toy Story Midway Mania, Beauty and the Beast, and Fantasmic and the Great Movie Ride and the Muppets 3D are okay. But outside of these few things I am searching for things to kill time. I hope once Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land have been completed there will be more to keep busy until Fantasmic starts. And the bad thing this time was I didn’t even get to see Beauty and the Beast, the last show was at 5:00, which was while we were eating and Fantasmic didn’t start till 9:00 that was still four hours I would have loved to watch the Beauty and the Beast show somewhere in those four hours. While at Hollywood Studios we ate at Hollywood and Vine which is okay but not one of my favorites. I will say if you have young kids Hollywood and Vine does have nice character dinning. For me the fact that Hollywood Studios doesn’t have a whole lot to keep you busy was one of the reasons I started with it, since I knew we would not get a full day in since it was check in day.
Disney Photo Week Day 6
Disney Photo Week Day 5
A few years ago when I was able to go in November it was the same year the Osborne Spectucal of Lights made it’s final appearance at Hollywood Studios. Now that was something to see! The way the streets of America would light up with thousands of Christmas lights each night. But of course now the streets of America are gone and so are the Christmas lights.
I’m A Little Sad Today
I am a little sad this morning; I am not going to lie. The past two years on this first Saturday in May we have been going into Disney World for our vacation. I thought I would be okay with not going this spring but it is turning out that I am not. I want to see the Castle, The Tree of Life, and the EPCOT Ball. I want to feel the pain in my feet from walking so much around the parks. I want to taste the wonderful food at all my favorite restaurants, watch the evening firework shows and then go back to the hotel and crawl into that wonderful bed at Port Orleans. Surprisingly I am even a little sad about missing the Flower and Garden Show. I never really dreamed I would like it that much. I have two Disney shirts sitting here with tags still on; I bought them when I thought we were going back this spring. Now they are waiting to go just like me. I need to get my Disney Side on! Hopefully a trip this fall will work out I am having Disney withdraws.
Disney Week Day 5: The Food
I have not had a bad meal at Disney. I have had a few that were better than others but never horrible. The past two years we have had the Deluxe Meal Plan, and you can eat with that plan. With that in mind I planed to try as many new restaurants as we could but also hit some of the better ones from last year. I’m glad we did we found a few new favorites.

Disney Week Day 4: The Shows
The shows at Disney World are amazing! Especially the nighttime shows. The team of people working on the shows do a wonderful job. From parades, to live action shows, to firework shows one is better than the next. Three of my favorite shows are the nighttime shows at the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. I recently heard Animal Kingdom is going to start having a nighttime show too. If they are I can’t wait to see it, I just know it will be good. The Magic Kingdom even has a street party celebration parade. Two of my other favorite shows are the live action shows of Beauty and the Beast at Hollywood Studios and Festival of the Lion King at Animal Kingdom. Here are my favorite shows listed by park.
Magic Kingdom
Celebrate the Magic, Main Street Electrical Parade, Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party, Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, Country Bears Jamboree, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, The Hall of Presidents

Disney Week Day 2: The Parks
The parks are the reason to go to Disney World and we spent time at all four parks. The Magic Kingdom is probably my favorite still but I enjoy all of them and have favorite things to do at all of them. The thing I like best about Disney World is, they do not have a lot of roller coasters. I do not like roller coasters on bit so I need some place that has other alternatives, fun easy rides, and Disney is it. Don’t get me wrong Disney World does have some roller coasters but only a small handful. No matter what kind of adventure you are looking for Disney should have it.
Here is a break down of the parks…
Magic Kingdom
The Magic Kingdom is great for younger kids, for those who like story telling rides, or just plain kids at heart. Like me!
EPCOT
EPCOT is great for someone who likes science and travel. The World Showcase is like talking a walk around the world.
Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom is all about the animals.
Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios probably has the most for thrill seekers but they have other stuff to see and do too. Everything at Hollywood Studios revolves around the movies and TV.
Disney also has two water parks if that is your speed.

Rides, shows, and food to be covered in other blog posts this week.
