In the upcoming weeks I will share a little more about each series and why I like them.

Hollywood Dirt

Yesterday was the day Hollywood Dirt starting steaming on Passionflix.  I was excited to get home from work yesterday to watch it.  I really enjoyed it.  It’s a movie based on a book so of course the movie doesn’t hit on everything the book does but I actually thought it did a pretty good job following the book.  I know you can only do so much in a short time when a book is over 400 pages.  It was well worth the monthly fee for Passionflix.  I can’t wait to read some of the other books and see what they can do with them.

Long Overdue

The last two Fridays I have actually done something I haven’t done in a long time.  Do something for myself and not someone else.  Last Friday I was off so I had lunch with dad at a restaurant I chose.  Then I went to Michael’s and Five Below and stopped and got myself a cup of coffee from my favorite, Dunkin’ Donuts.  Then yesterday we ordered Chinese food for lunch at work, which I never get since I’m the only one that eats it.  Then I got my hair done (it’s been over a year since I did that last) and finally I stopped and got myself Chipolte for dinner.  It’s about time I did something for me.

Passionflix and My Reading

Passionflix is here!  I think it is going to make me step up my reading. I have already Hollywood Dirt to prepare me for when it starts streaming on the twentieth.  A few of these books I have heard of and thought about reading but now I will have to read them.  Next one for sure is Afterburn\Aftershock.  Then maybe Driven of This Man.  Stay tuned for updates.

The Stupidest Thing I Have Ever Seen

I don’t shop at sporting good stores.  I don’t have a need to.  But tonight as we were running around getting stuff for my dad’s travel tomorrow to Flordia (he needed a sleeping bag) I walked it to one.  And what did I find?  To me the stupidest thing I have ever saw.

A turnstile at the entrance!  It’s a store not a sporting event or a ride at Disney World.

Eyes on Irma

Even though I don’t live in Florida and don’t have travel plans there anytime soon, I am watching Irma pretty close.  My dad works for the local utilities company and he is the supervisor heading down with a group to help after the storm moves through.  My cousin and his girlfriend live in St. Petersburg.  They are downtown and not on the beach but still close.  And I have a friend who is at Disney World right now with her daughter, son in law, and two grandkids.

Southern Belle Foodie

Dictionary.com defines Foodie as: a person keenly interested in food, especially in eating or cooking

I would say I am a foodie. I love trying new places and there are restaurants we go to just for the food, no matter how long the drive or wait is. I would even have to say our Disney Vacations are all about the food. I thought I would share some of my foodie favorites from the road and at home.

Movie Find on Hulu

If you grew up in the late 80’s early 90’s like I did you probably remember some of the Mary Kate and Ashley movies.  Well I will let you know I found It Takes Two yesterday on Hulu.  I watched it right away.  I was not a fan of most of their movies but I did think this one was cute.  Knowing me though I probably liked it because of Steve Gutenberg and Kristie Alley and not Mary Kate and Ashley.
