InstaCollage Pro is an app I have on my iPhone. I love this app! You can make collages out of your photos. This app has so many different styles of collages, frame options, stickers, and background colors that can be added. This is ideally for making collages for Instagram but you can save them to your phone too. I have even had one printed for a project I was working on. They are so much fun and for someone who likes taking pictures and getting crafty with her pictures this app is great for me. Now the pro edition does cost a few dollars and there is a free edition but the pro has so much more to offer, so I feel it is worth the cost.
I found an app last week that if it works as good as it sounds could quickly become a favorite. It’s called Free Prints, and it is supposed to be just that, an app where you can order free prints of pictures on your phone and all you have to pay is the shipping. I love taking photos and a lot of times I take them on my phone because it is handy. I placed my first order last week so I will keep you posted on if it really works or not.
I am an Amazon.com junkie. There is usually at least one box a week coming to the house, so I can not even try to deny it, there is proof. And I love pretty much all things Amazon. I have two Kindles, one paperwhite and one fire, I use subscribe and save for my k-cups, I have a fire tv stick for when we travel, and I would buy the fire phone in a heart beat if the price was not so high. Last year I had just renewed my prime when the price went up so I was okay till this year. I tried getting by without renewing my prime but the first time I ordered something without my prime shipping advantage it took over a week to get, and there were Birthday gifts. After that I just could not do it anymore I broke down and paid that higher prime price. It’s not that I mind paying for the prime, I just wish you could pay monthly and not all at one time. I honestly do not know what I would do without amazon. And I really do not use my prime for the free movies and tv. I hardly watch prime videos and I use prime music from time to time. I get the prime more for the shipping.
I just found a website/app that could really get this Southern Belle into some trouble. Zazzle, and it is a creative minds paradise not to mention a small business owner. You can get anything from Business Cards to Wedding Invitations and customized photo products. What’s not to love?! I have already placed three orders and it’s only been a little over a week since I found it. Plus if you pay $9.95 a year you can get free shipping. Now apparently they have been around for ten years now but I’m just coming out from under the rock I live in. Check it out, this website could easily become my new addiction.
This week I thought I would spotlight a few of my favorite websites/apps. It was an obvious choice that my first website/app to spotlight is none other than Southern Belle T-Shirts. I found this website over a year ago and I love their shirts. I have quite the collection now (I will have to share some of them with you soon). Not only are they comfortable and stylish, they are also reasonably priced. They even have sales from time to time plus free shipping. They are based out of Mississippi and they were having a sidewalk sale the day we were traveling through Mississippi home from Natchez and we went right through the city but my dad, the driver, would not stop for me, which might actually be a good thing. If you see this Southern Belle around town odds are I am wearing one of my Southern Belle tees. I just purchased another new one last week!
I am loving the books by Beth Albright. The Sassy Belles were great and the In Dixie Series is just as good. But maybe that is because the Original Sassy Belles are making appearances. Daydreams in Dixie is the third in the In Dixie Series and may just be my favorite so far. I love escaping to Tuscaloosa with the Belles. Vivi is by far my favorite belle but Annabelle is right there behind her. This is book is Annabelle story of finding her happily ever after. Let me tell you if you love a good southern romance the Sassy Belles and In Dixie series’ are for you.
Since I was talking about some of the movies based on Nicholas Sparks books I thought I would list my five favorites for you. Here they are…
5) A Walk to Remember
4) The Lucky One
3) The Longest Ride
2) Safe Haven
1) Nights in Rodanthe
Last weekend I rented The Longest Ride movie and watched it. I loved it! That is one of the Nicholas Sparks books I have not read so it was a total surprise for me. I thought Alan Alda was great in it. And Scott Eastwood, let me just say I am a Scott Eastwood fan for life now. Oh boy is he hot! A few weekends before that I watched The Best of Me on Netflix, now that book I read so I knew how it ended. But even though I know how the book ended doesn’t mean I know how actually they will pull it off in the movie. I will admit I was not sure how James Marsden would do as Dawson but he did better than I thought. While I liked both movies and The Longest Ride is now probably one of my favorite movies based on a Nicholas Sparks book, my absolute favorite still is Nights in Rodanthe. How can you go wrong with Richard Gere, Diane Lane and the Outer Banks?!
