One of my favorite things to eat is hanky pankies. The little cocktail rye bread topped with the meat and cheese spiced up mix. So my idea this week, to make it into mac and cheese.
What I Used…
1 Roll Reduced Fat Pork Sausage browned and drained
2 Boxes Whole Wheat Macaroni and Cheese
1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Oregano
After I browned the sausage and drained it I made the macaroni as it says to on the box. After I drained the macaroni before I mixed the cheese in I added the browned sausage and the spices, then mixed the cheese in with the pasta, sausage, and spices.
